HAVA Requirements / Mini-Conferences: Please be advised that several regional mini-conferences are being planned for the week of July 12th. Each conference is expected to run approximately 2 hours in length. Topics will include the following, (1) An overview of the new requirements for provisional balloting (2) the new identification requirements for first time mail-in voter registrants and (3) Election Day issues.

Additional details regarding dates, times and locations will be forwarded early next week. All county, city and township election officials are encouraged to attend.

Department of State Holiday Hours: The Department of State will be closed on Friday, July 2nd. We will also be closed in observation of Independence Day on Monday, July 5th.

Absentee Voter Module: We realize that many jurisdictions have begun accepting AV voter application and assigning ballots for the upcoming elections. To aid you in your preparation, we have a re-fresher document for this module that will guide you through the AV process, step-by-step.
