QVF Software Release: Version 2.27: a new version of QVF software was released today at 11:00 am. The software contains features designed to improve replication reliability for sites using a dial-up connection, as well as a new cancellation status that will be used to indicate voters cancelled by the cancellation countdown feature.

To ensure that your software updates successfully, please leave your pc power on.  An alternative to shutting or logging off your pc is to "lock" it. Locking your computer will ensure that it is secure while unattended, and allow your pc to replicate normally during the night. The easiest way to lock Windows XP is by simply pressing the Windows Logo key (located next to the Alt key) and the letter L (for Lock) on your keyboard. You can also lock your pc by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del then click on the Lock Computer button.
