AutoMARK Programming Reminders: The following pointers are offered for election officials performing AutoMARK programming in AIMS for the Presidential Primary:

Michigan Header Graphic - The State of Michigan provides a graphic header .bmp file for AutoMARK programming purposes. To obtain this graphic navigate to the web address provided below:

- Click on the following link:

- http://mi.gov/images/som/MI_automark_header_198410_7.bmp

- Right click on the graphic and select "save as" to save the .bmp file

- Inside AIMS select "Election" at the top then "Machine Settings."

- At the bottom is the header graphic selection.

- Just navigate to the saved Michigan graphic header to insert the graphic.

State Pronunciation Guide - The State of Michigan also provides phonetic pronunciations for all Presidential Primary candidates. This listing can be obtained by navigating to the following link on the web. http://mi.gov/documents/sos/PronunciationGuide_216261_7.xls

- Inside the Candidate Editor in AIMS, Select the paper icon after the arrows called "Edit this line."

- In the next window select the speaker icon, then edit at the far right.

- In the bottom box called "Translation Phonetic" copy and paste the phonetic spelling of the candidate's name from the State's document.

- You will need to do this for each Presidential Primary candidate.
