(Special Issue for County Clerks and Selected
City and Township Clerks)
The Bureau of Elections is pleased to
announce the release of QVF software version 2.47.
E-Wizard-related changes: Several enhancements to the E-Wizard
module have been included in this software release. The additional
functionality listed below will make it easier for QVF users to navigate
through and make entries into the E-Wizard.
Candidate, Office and Proposal Detail - On the Candidates screen,
the Parties combo box now only includes the choices "Republican" and
"Democratic" if the candidate is running in a partisan primary.
Re-ordering of candidates - The E-Wizard now automatically sorts
candidate names properly in both partisan and non-partisan races. Users are
no longer required to identify candidate position on ballot.
Disqualified status
- It is now possible to assign a candidate the status of
"disqualified". On the Candidate screen, click on the "Disqualified" checkbox
located below the Main Candidate section.
Other
Candidate screen changes - A warning message now displays if the
user attempts to click on the "Is Complete" flag for an office when no
candidates have been entered. Once a user clicks on the "Is Complete" flag
for an office and saves the changes, the system will display the corresponding
office or proposal in read-only mode. Once an office is "Completed" only state
users will be able to create, delete or edit candidate details for the
corresponding office.
Other
changes: The Political Parties Lookup module now includes columns
that indicate ballot order and a notation identifying parties that are
included on a partisan primary ballot.
