Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in Lenawee County to serve customers in the Morenci area on May 10 – 11.

The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is handicapper accessible. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

It will be at Morenci City Hall, 118 Orchard St. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 10 and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 11.

"This is a convenient way for area customers to take care of business," Land said.

"I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity."

Following its visit to Morenci, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Muskegon Heights. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly eight years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
