Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in Clinton County to serve customers in the Westphalia and Elsie areas on June 22 - 23.

The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is handicapper accessible. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

On Wednesday, June 22 it will be in Westphalia at the Municipal Center, 200 N. Willow St. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Thursday, June 23 it will be at the Elsie City Hall, 125 W. Main from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We look forward to bringing this convenient way of doing business to Clinton County," Land said. "I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity."

Following its visit to Westphalia and Elsie, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Battle Creek. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly eight years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
