Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in Oakland County to serve customers in the Northville and Novi areas on July 12 - 13.

The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is handicapper accessible. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.

It will be at the Northville Senior Center, 303 W. Main on Tuesday, July 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and at Meadowbrook Commons, 25075 Meadowbrook Road, Novi on Wednesday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"The Mobile Branch Office lets us reach out to all corners of Michigan," Land said. "It reflects our commitment to deliver prompt, convenient service. I encourage area residents to take advantage of this opportunity."

Following its visit to Novi, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Prescott and Wixom. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly eight years ago.

Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
