Today, we join the rest of the nation in mourning the passing of Coretta Scott King.

As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s wife, Mrs. King dedicated her life to fighting for civil rights with the same passion as her late husband. For her life’s work fighting for civil rights and fighting to maintain her husband’s legacy, each of us owes Coretta Scott King a debt of gratitude.
