Secretary Land (right) presented Detroit City Clerk Janice Winfrey with a check on June 7, 2006 to reimburse the city for its costs in verifying registered voters. Secretary Land and Winfrey have teamed together to ensure the accuracy of voting lists in Detroit and Michigan.
