Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land today announced that the Mobile Branch Office will be in Oakland County to serve customers in the Novi-Northville area on July 12 - 13.
The facility is a full-service Secretary of State branch office and is accessible to the disability community. It is hauled statewide on a 24-foot trailer.
It will be at the Novi Senior Center, 25075 Meadowbrook Rd., Wednesday, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at the Northville Senior Center, 303 W. Main, Thursday, July 13. Hours on Thursday are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"This is a convenient way for area customers to take care of business," Land said.
"I encourage residents to take advantage of this opportunity."
Following its visit to Northville, the Mobile Branch Office will be in Lansing, Prescott and Battle Creek. It has logged more than 100,000 miles since it first hit the road nearly nine years ago.
Land encourages all customers who have Internet access to check out the department’s online services at www.Michigan.gov/sos before visiting any branch office. For example, license tabs and watercraft registrations can be renewed online. Browsing the site will help customers determine requirements before they go to an office.
