Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land reminds customers that the Mohawk office will adjust its schedule for the Christmas and New Year's holidays.

The office at 3616 U.S. Highway 41 will be open:

• Tuesday, Dec. 23
• Tuesday, Dec. 30

The office is open only on Thursdays in the fall and winter but will close Thursday, Dec. 25 for Christmas and Thursday, Jan. 1 for New Year's.

Hours remain 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The office closes for lunch from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Customers renewing license plates can "skip the trip" to a branch office and do business by mail, or if eligible, by Internet or touch-tone phone.  Easy to follow instructions are on the renewal notice.  License plate tabs will arrive by mail within seven business days.
