Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land announced today that
November 2008 general election results for all Michigan counties are now
available
online in a searchable database.
The database includes precinct-level returns for president, U.S. senator,
U.S. representative, state representative, state Board of Education, university
boards, and Supreme Court. It also lists statewide proposals and poll book
totals.
"We're pleased to offer this information in an easy-to-use format," said
Land, Michigan's chief elections officer. "Now voters, reporters and researchers
can track November 2008 voting trends at the precinct level. Everyone has a
wealth of information available at his or her fingertips."
The database is at www.Michigan.gov/sos. Click on the
"Elections in Michigan" link and go to "Previous Election Information." Under
the heading "2008," click on "General
Election Results by Precinct."
Precinct-level returns for general elections dating back to 1998 are also
