The law implementing the heart sticker program took effect Jan. 1, 2007. If you signed up on the organ donor registry before then, you would not have received a heart sticker. The Department of State is asking everyone who enrolled prior to Jan. 1 to take a minute to enroll again. That way, you'll know your organ donor enrollment is up to date and you'll receive the heart sticker for your driver's license or state identification card. Visit the Online Michigan Organ Donor Registry or any Secretary of State office to enroll.

If you enrolled on the registry after Jan. 1, and two or more weeks have passed and you still haven't received your heart sticker, please call 1-888-SOS-MICH (1-888-767-6424) toll-free for assistance.
