What are the requirements to hold a public auction?
 
Answer:

You should discuss the matter with your lawyer and the police agency that authorized the removal of the vehicle. Michigan law (MCL 257.252g) provides some minimal requirements. The police agency that authorized the tow may have additional requirements.
