Preregistering means that you have provided application information ahead of time and is required before you are fingerprinted. You may preregister at www.hazprints.com or by calling the IBT toll-free number at (877) 429-7746. If you fail to preregister before visiting a company authorized to take fingerprints, you will be asked to telephone in your application information before any further action is taken. Written applications will not be accepted.

You may also pay the fees ahead of time using a credit card or electronic check when you preregister.

If you do not pay ahead of time by credit card or electronic check, you must pay using a money order for $89.25, made out to: Integrated Biometric Technology, LLC.

You will still need to provide your fingerprints and certain documents in person at a TSA authorized company. Preregistering significantly reduces the amount of time you will need to be at the office.
