Secretary of State Saginaw South office to close for remodeling Feb. 13-17

The Secretary of State office at 4212 Dixie Hwy. in Saginaw will be closed for remodeling Feb. 13-17.

Customers and staff will benefit from renovations that include new carpeting and a more customer-friendly counter design. The office will reopen at 9 a.m. on Feb. 21. All Secretary of State offices will be closed on Feb. 20 in observance of Presidents Day, including Saginaw South.

Area residents who need Secretary of State services during the remodeling period may visit the following offices:
 

Saginaw County PLUS Bay County PLUS

Saginaw Bay City
   
St. Charles  
115 S. Saginaw St.  
St. Charles  

The Saginaw and Bay County PLUS offices are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. The St. Charles office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

People renewing license plates, driver's licenses and ID cards can do business by mail or online at www.ExpressSOS.com. Easy to follow instructions can be found with the renewal notice. Additional services can be done online as well.

License plate tabs can also be renewed at Self-Service Stations, many of which are available around the clock. Visit the Branch Office Locator at www.Michigan.gov/SOS to find a Self-Service Station near you.
