Restriction Violations

Restrictions may be placed on your driving privileges for many reasons, and may range from specific times and places you may drive, to requiring special equipment or corrective lens.  If you violate your restrictions, the Secretary of State may call you in for a driver assessment reexamination.  The purpose of the reexamination is to determine if the current restrictions are appropriate, or if stronger licensing controls are necessary to reduce risky driving behavior.  This reexamination may result in your current restrictions being extended, or in the suspension or revocation of your driving privileges.  In that case, a reinstatement fee will be due at the end of your licensing control.
