State Plan Advisory Committee(HAVA)

HAVA stipulates that the State Plan must be developed with input from a special advisory committee appointed by the state's chief election officer.  The members of Michigan's State Plan Advisory Committee were appointed by Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land.  The committee met multiple times over the last several months to study the requirements of HAVA and make recommendations on the best way for Michigan to comply with the new federal law.
