Displaying Registration. 

A motor vehicle repair facility shall display, upon issuance, in a place and manner conspicuous to its customers, a current and valid certificate of repair facility registration issued by the Michigan Department of State, Bureau of Regulatory Services.

 

In the event that a registration issued to a motor vehicle repair facility is lost, destroyed, or mutilated, the facility shall immediately apply to the Michigan Department of State, Bureau of Regulatory Services for a replacement registration.  The application for a replacement registration shall be accompanied by payment of a $5.00 fee.
