Air Charter Service

Required State License(s):

An Aircraft should be registered with the Michigan Department of Transportation, Aeronautics Commission; (517) 335-9719.

Other license(s):

A License should also be received from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Contact the local FAA Office.

There are three Michigan Flight Standard District Office's of the Federal Aviation Administration:   Grand Rapids: (616) 954-6657  
Detroit: (734) 487-7222   South Bend, Indiana: (219) 245-4600. (The South Bend office serves the southwest corner of the state of Michigan.)  

Facilities used should be inspected, and flight checks of pilots are required every 6 months.
