Aircraft must be registered with the Michigan Department of Transportation, Bureau of Aeronautics and Freight Services by calling 517-335-9719.

If operating at a temporary location, a Temporary Field Permit will be necessary.  For additional details go to the  Bureau of Aeronautics and Freight Services website .  To obtain a Temporary Field Permit complete MDOT Form 4086, submit fee and prepare for a site inspection.  For additional details call 517-335-9681.

Air Charter Services are licensed with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Contact the local FAA office. Three FAA locations are Grand Rapids 616-954-6657, Detroit 734-487-7222 or South Bend, Indiana 219-245-4600 (serves the southwest corner of Michigan). 

Facility will be inspected and pilots must be flight checked every six months.
