Required State License(s): All internist in postgraduate study with a hospital, clinic, or preceptorship program is required to obtain a limited license from a Board (depending on what type of internship you are studying -- podiatrist, osteopathic, pharmacist, etc.).
A podiatrist (the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and deformities of the human foot) is required to be licensee with the Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Professions; (517) 335-0918.

All persons who practice osteopathic medicine and/or surgery should be licensed with the Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Professions; (517) 335-0918.
All Osteopathic Interns and Residents must also be licensed by the Board of Osteopathic Medicine.
Any person involved in compounding and dispensing of drugs and related items at the retail level should by licensed with the Department of Community Health, Bureau of Health Professions; (517) 335-0918.
Pharmacist interns should also be licensed by the Health Professions.
