The Assessor Certification process is under the direct
control of the State Tax Commission.
Since the application process is complex (e.g., entry level requires a
two year educational commitment, with monthly meetings, self-study, viewing web
presentations, and monthly testing) interested parties are encouraged to review
the process in detail under the headings "Assessor Education" and
"Assessor Certification" on the Tax Commission's web page, at the
