How do I submit a Request for Seeking Work Waiver for Unemployment?

In accordance with Section 28(1)(a) of the MES Act, the seeking work requirement may be waived by the Agency if the claimant is laid off and the involved employer notifies the Agency, in writing, or online, that the layoff is temporary and that work is expected to be available within 45 calendar days following the last day the claimant worked. The notification from the employer must be received by the Agency before the claimant completes his/her first compensable week following the layoff.
