Contests are regulated by the Valid Game Promotion Act, MCLA
750.372 a. The rules should be clearly stated along with the conditions of the contest. A purchase must not be required. The judging of the contest should be clearly explained. Contest sponsors need to comply with truth in the advertising laws.
