Delivery Service

Required State License(s):

A license is required with the Public Service Commission, Motor Carrier, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs; (517) 241-6030.  

An exemption is allowed for those businesses who pick up and deliver within an eight mile radius of the city in which the business is located. THIS EXEMPTION IS NOT AVAILABLE IN THE DETROIT METROPOLITAN AREA. Contact the Public Service Commission for further details.  

Additional permits may be needed depending on the type of product being transported.
