Fire Suppression

To install fire suppression systems a State of Michigan Mechanical Contractor license is required. Contact the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Construction Codes, Mechanical Division at (517) 241-9325.

Additionally, fire suppression systems for schools, hospitals, hotels, prisons or similar type buildings require certification from the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Fire Services.
