D. SUMMARY OF PERMIT/APPROVAL PROCESS:
1.
Program Review and Registration
- The Application
for Pre-licensing Education Provider/Course must be completed in
its entirety and submitted.
- For a program to be
registered as an insurance agent/solicitor program of study, program
course materials and examinations and resumes of instructors shall be
submitted in their entirety to the council for review. The council will
recommend to the commissioner of insurance those courses which are found
to meet the standards set forth in these rules for registration as
qualified insurance agent/solicitor program courses.
- Any change in course material
or instructors after approval is granted shall also be submitted to the
council not less than 2 weeks before implementation.
- The council may, at any time,
request a review of any and all materials, classrooms, and instructors.
2.
Procedures Obtaining Approval
- TWO (2) COMPLETE COPIES of
your entire application are required.
- TWO (2) COPIES of the
respective content outlines with time allocations or page numbers.
- ONE COPY of the textbook,
CD-Rom or access to Internet course must be submitted.
- Application must be properly
completed and accompanied by supporting documentation.
- Complete a separate
application for each course.
