Required State License(s): All interns in postgraduate study with a hospital, clinic, or preceptorship program are required to obtain a limited license from the Board (depending on the type of internship -- Allopathic Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, etc.).

An intern in postgraduate Podiatry study with a hospital, clinic, or preceptorship program must obtain a limited license from the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Health Professions, Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery; (517) 335-0918. www.michigan.gov/healthlicense
