Required State License(s): Advise others, either directly or through publications or other writings, as to the value of securities or the advisability of investing in, purchasing or selling securities, or who for compensation issues or promulgates analyses or reports concerning securities is required to be licensed as an investment advisor with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Financial and Insurance Services (517) 241-6350.
