Manufacturer of Brandy License

Agency:   Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC)

Required State License(s):

All persons engaged in the manufacture, importation, possession, transportation, and sale of alcohol must obtain a license from the MLCC.  Licenses are issued by the MLCC in accordance with the requirements of the Liquor Control Code of 1998 and administrative rules.  

 A  Brandy Manufacturer License must be issued in conjunction with a wine maker or small wine maker license.  A Brandy Manufacturer license authorizes a person located in Michigan to manufacture and sell at retail brandy that it manufactures at that licensed premises.  For further information on Brandy Manufacturer licenses visit our website at http://www.michigan.gov/lara/0,4601,7-154-35299_10570_21734_23310-61511--,00.html or contact us toll-free at 1-866-813-0011.
