. The label need not be registered in
Michigan
.
In addition, some communities may have ordinances regarding selling bedding so contact local authorities for what may be required.
A sales tax license will be necessary with the Michigan Department of Treasury at (517) 636-4730.
Act 199 of 2000, effective June 22, 2000 repealed a state labeling requirement under Act 54 of 1917 MCL 429.301- 429.311 for mattresses and comforters.
