Mobile Pressure Washing units using biodegradable detergents to wash exteriors of cars, houses, trucks, etc., will probably not need a permit.

If degreasing chemicals are used, or if engines are washed or rinsed, waste water should be contained and treated. For further information contact the Department of Environmental Quality  (800) 662-9278.

Other Possible License(s):

Contact the local waste water treatment plant for a permit/license when water or soap is being discharged into the sewer.
