    Plumbing Inspector

    Required State Registration:

    Plumbing inspectors employed by a county, city or other unit of government for the express purpose of enforcing the state plumbing code shall be registered with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Construction Codes, Building Division; (517) 241-9347.

    Further Information:

    Registered plumbing inspectors are required to have experience 2 years of experience as a licensed journey worker or shall be licensed as a master plumber under the provisions of 2002 PA 733 (formerly 1929 PA 266) and maintain their registration through continuous education requirements that are mandated by state law.
