    Plant Grower/Dealer

    Required State License(s):

    Growers/dealers and private individuals who grow and sell herbaceous perennial plants, biennials, small fruit plants, asparagus or rhubarb roots, are required to be licensed with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Pesticide and Plant Pest Management Division at (517) 373-1087.

    Non-residential plant growers/dealers and private individuals who solicit or take orders, sell nursery stock in Michigan through nursery agent(s) is/are also required to be licensed with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (517) 373-1087.
