    Required State License(s):

    A Podiatrist who diagnoses and treats diseases and deformities of the human foot must be licensed with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Health Care Services, Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery; 517-335-0918. 

    An intern in postgraduate podiatric study with a hospital, clinic, or preceptorship program must obtain a limited license from the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Health Care Services, Board of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery; 517- 335-0918.
