Repair Facility License

Description:

A repair facility that charges for vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, body work or repairs must be licensed by the Michigan Department of State (Section 6 of the Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act - MCL 257.1306). The Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act also defines the practices and regulations repair facilities and mechanics must follow to keep their certification in good standing.
