When installing cable that is connected to a residence, an electrical contractor's license is not required with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Construction Codes & Fire Safety, Electrical Division.

Further Information:

When installing cables check with your local county/city clerk's office to inquire about a permit.  Also check with the local zoning board.
