The state is asking all opt-out county treasurers to participate in systems testing during the last week in January and the first week in February. This should help these counties and the state uncover any possible systems problems and address them early, both on the original FTP transmission of forfeiture information and Internet transmission of redemption data. Please review Appendix A of this document for specific technology information.

The Michigan Department of Treasury also will be dedicating a portion of its web site to tax reversion, and will supply downloadable forms, information, and links to redemption screens.
