Michigan E-file 2012
Your 2012 income tax return may be e-filed beginning January 30, 2013. In addition, 2010 and 2011 income tax returns may be e-filed when supported by the software. However, there are some delays in IRS tax return processing, which could impact your ability to file your return. E-filing is still the fastest and most efficient method of filing your Michigan tax return. Filing a paper return will result in slower processing. Filing more than one return for the same tax year, either by paper or e-file could delay your refund. The State of Michigan is working with software developers and tax preparers to encourage taxpayers to e-file their income tax returns. E-filing is the fastest, easiest, most convenient way to your refund, and choosing e-file helps save Michigan taxpayer dollars. More than two-thirds (over 3.6 million) of Michigan taxpayers chose e-file last year.
E-file. Good for you. Good for Michigan. | ||||||||||||||||
