Stuart Trager
Attorney Member

Judge Trager was appointed to the Tax Tribunal in 2008. Before coming to the Tribunal, Judge Trager served as Supervising Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit Law Department. In that position, Judge Trager oversaw the defense of property tax valuations and assessments and has worked on state tax legislation, ordinance revision and contracts. Prior to that position, Judge Trager was Assistant City Attorney for the City of Romulus, handling municipal corporate matters and property tax litigation, as well as general legal responsibilities. Judge Trager received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and his law degree from the University of Detroit.

Appointment expires June 30, 2011.
