RE: COUNTY MULTIPLIERS
Attached are the 2005 County Multipliers for use with the 1998 cost schedules
and the 2003 cost schedules contained in Volumes I and II of the Assessor's
Manual. The 2005 County Multipliers are the proper multipliers to use in 2005
equalization appraisal studies whose purpose is to set the 2006 starting base.
Please see the STC Memo dated March 22, 2005 regarding the updated base costs
for Volumes I and II of the Michigan Assessor's Manual. The updated base costs
can be accessed at www.michigan.gov/treasury. When you reach the site, click on
Local Government, then on State Tax Commission, and then scroll to the bottom of
the page.
