Does Direct Deposit begin immediately after enrollment?
 
Answer:
No. After enrolling in payroll Direct Deposit, allow up to two pay periods for Direct Deposit to begin. The State of Michigan must verify various account information for accuracy. This verification of information is called the pre-notification process between the State and your designated financial institution.
