Online Audit Reports
TO VIEW ONLINE REPORTS
To find an audit report for a specific local unit, select the
applicable year then the county in which the local unit is located.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader
installed to view the audit report. Depending on the speed of your Internet
connection, large files may be slow to open. We recommend you download such
files to your computer before viewing.
NOTE: The Michigan Departments of Treasury and Education have announced a
unified process for the submission of school district financial audits.
Beginning with audits submitted for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2010,
districts need submit only one audit to the Department of Education. This will
meet the needs of both departments and satisfy the audit filing requirement of
Public Act 34 of 2001. It is no longer necessary to submit a school district
financial audit to the Department of Treasury.
TO FILE ONLINE REPORTS
To file a report online you will need to have a userid and password assigned
to you from the Local Audit and Finance Division, know the municode for the
local unit of government, and know the acceptable file naming convention for the
type of report being uploaded.
