What is the Advocacy Program?

The Advocacy Program provides information, upon request, and subject to certain restrictions, consultation and representation to unemployed workers and employers, at the Office of Appeals and/or Board of Review levels of appeals.  Advocates are independent contractors and have a signed contract with the Program.  They provide the consultation and representation services for qualifying customers.

Program Statement

The Advocacy Program is a customer friendly program.  It prepares unemployed workers and employers to better understand the appeals or decision-making processes.  Services are provided to assist in presenting facts properly, to simplify the process and to help reduce the fear and intimidation for a fair decision
