Corrected 2006 Maximum Weekly Benefit Rate is $706.00

The Bureau of Labor Market Information & Strategic Initiatives has misreported the state average weekly wage as of June 30, 2005.  The state average weekly wage has been corrected to $784.31 instead of $790.54.  In accordance with Section 418.355(2) of the Workers' Disability Compensation Act, the 2006 maximum weekly benefit based on 90% of the state average weekly wage is $706.00 rather than $712.00.
