Richard Zapala Appointed to Funds Board of Trustees

Richard F. Zapala was recently appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Funds Administration's Board of Trustees.  The board oversees the Self-Insurers' Security Fund, Second Injury Fund, and the Silicosis, Dust Disease and Logging Industry Compensation Fund. 

Mr. Zapala is the Assistant General Counsel at the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America, and will represent the insurance industry in the state of Michigan for a term expiring April 30, 2010.  This is Mr. Zapala's second appointment to the Funds Administration's Board of Trustees.  He previously served as the insurance industry representative from December 3, 1996 to June 23, 2002.
