The Bureau of Labor Market Information & Strategic Initiatives has reported the state average weekly wage as of June 30, 2007 to be $820.04. In accordance with Section 418.355(2) of the Workers' Disability Compensation Act, the 2008 maximum weekly benefit based on 90% of the state average weekly wage is $739.00.

As part of our continuing efforts to reduce costs, the WCA will no longer be providing the Weekly Wage Loss Benefit Tables in hard copy format. This change starts with the 2008 Weekly Benefit Tables. Instead, the tables have been published on our website at

under "What's New." The complete version of these tables can also be found at this direct link:

Once the file has been opened, it can be saved to your personal computer for future reference, or printed as a hard copy.
Remember: all Workers' Compensation rate calculations can be handled using our calculation program which can be downloaded at no cost from our website at:
