Magistrate Appointments & Reappointments Effective January 26, 2002

Please be advised that Governor John Engler has reappointed the following individuals as magistrates:

  • Mary Brennan
  • Melody Paige
  • Donna Grit
  • L'Mell Smith
  • Carol Guyton
  • John Wierzbicki
  • Patrick MacLean
  • Richard Zettel

 

Incumbent Magistrates David Nowinski and Winston Wheaton were term limited and not eligible for reappointment. However, Magistrate Wheaton was appointed to the Workers' Compensation Appellate Commission assuming the unexpired term (10/1/03) of Richard Leslie.

 

The Governor appointed the following individuals as magistrates to fill the Nowinski and Wheaton vacancies along with the Hurbis vacancy.

  • John Baril
  • Val Jarvis
  • Richard Leslie
