SUBJECT:  Corrections to the Technical Assistant Column for Surgery Procedures.

It has been brought to our attention that many of the designations for the Technical Assistant for the surgical procedures were incorrect.  The discrepancies occurred beginning with procedure code 51726, and it appears that the designations were 2 cells off in the surgical fee schedule in the column listing the “T” designating procedures allowing a technical assistant surgeon in addition to the primary surgeon.  The corrections have been made to the table effective March 30, 2004.
